Lucknow: Brijesh Singh, a senior journalist active in the National Capital Region (NCR) for many years, has been nominated as the District President of Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida) of UP Working Journalists Union (UPWJU). Brijesh Singh, who has been doing journalism for the last 34 years, has been working in the national bureau of Dainik Jagran Delhi for 10 years and Amar Ujala for seven years.
Recently he retired from Navodaya Times Delhi. UPWJU State President TB Singh announced the appointment of Brijesh Singh as Noida District President in the capital Lucknow and handed over the appointment letter to him. TB Singh has instructed the newly appointed District President Brijesh Singh to form an executive within the next one month and expand the organization in Noida.
UPWJU President said that Brijesh Singh started journalism from Dainik Aaj newspaper Allahabad and worked in Lucknow Dainik Jagran, Amar Ujala Bareilly, Punjab, Allahabad, Varanasi, Dainik Jagran Delhi and Amar Ujala National Bureau besides Navodaya Times.
He said that under the leadership of Brijesh Singh, who has worked in NCR for a long time, there will be large-scale association of journalists with UPWJU in Noida.
On this occasion, Brijesh Singh said that soon a provincial conference will be organized in Noida after connecting the journalists with UPWJU. He said that with the expansion of media in NCR, the number of journalists in Noida has increased and their problems have also increased in the same proportion. UPWJU will work for the interests of journalists in Noida.
TB Singh said that with the formation of the unit in Noida, the UPWJU organization has now expanded to almost all the districts of Western Uttar Pradesh. He said that in the month of April itself, the formation of UPWJU units will be completed in many districts including Gorakhpur of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
